In the preceding pages, I struggled to find the ‘perfect’ definition of Pilates. But Pilates really has many aspects and perhaps one has to experience it, in order to find its true value and meaning.
In Pilates, as well as in life, the commitment one must make to achieve a goal is the most important key to success. I say this because people frequently ask me, “Will I have a tone & lean body by doing Pilates?” Yes, you can. But only if you are dedicated to your practice. In fact, Pilates yields more benefits than this.

When I started Pilates, it wasn’t easy at first. My body seemed to be working against me. But I love Pilates and was determined to learn and understand the method. I devoted all my time and energy, determined to make my body works for me. Today, besides the physical benefits of Pilates - having a strong body, I also realised the power of the mind - The power of my mind directing my body.
It is my hope to share this beautiful experience with all the clients who walk into my studio.
I also have the honour to study under many dedicated and inspirational teachers who gave me a great learning experience. I feel it is my mission to carry on this professionalism and integrity in teaching ethics.
Lastly, while you can truly experience the benefits of Pilates, you should above all else…have fun! I hope you fall in love with Pilates the way I did and enjoy your every session!
